Painting the Painted Lady returns for its third edition on Friday, February 13, and this one is loaded.
The night centres around the release of “Hunger Games,” a new collaborative track from Twintwa and Ensh.
Built on bass-driven, low-end-tuned acoustic guitar and wrapped in Ensh’s signature synth textures, Hunger Games delivers lyrics that cut sharply through past, present, and future.
Hypno-folk-punk meets electropop doomer as Twintwa and Ensh lay down the live soundtrack while Haliburton-based visual artist Tiffany Howe sets up her easel for a live painting session—creating in real time as the music unfolds.
This is a participatory night: art supplies will be available for all. Paint, draw, write, or mark the moment alongside the artist as the room fills with sound, colour, and collective release.
The Hunger Games release show is also a fundraiser for West End Community Action Network, supporting their work in mutual aid, harm reduction, advocacy, and bridging gaps between community needs and government systems.
Bring your beautiful, beating, bleeding hearts on Valentine’s Devil’s Night for an engaging, cathartic experience.
