Haŋyétu Šá (Red Night) at The Painted Lady celebrates Indigenous excellence, community, and a night of unforgettable music, movement and connection
6:15pm | $15
Lancelot Knight will start the night with his powerful voice and masterful guitar skills, Lancelot’s live performance is an electrifying fusion of music and storytelling, with original songs spanning genres from soulful ballads to high-energy anthems.
Next award winning contemporary performance artist Bee Solomon will move from the stage and through the audience with his enigmatic movements and entrancing energy.
Closing the night Cliff Cardinal & The Sky-Larks consider themselves to be genre-free, unwilling to let the bounds of one musical lane contain them. Honed by a hilarious and nefarious style, the band produces protest songs, love ballads, and existential raps through an Indigenous lens.
The night continues with burlesque featuring the dynamo duo Thrasher and El Toro on bartop dancing to the beats and vibes of DJ 9teen90. So get your bannock butts on the dance floor for a night of non stop entertainment and good times!
