The Painted Lady is an official Departure Festival venue, and as a lead-up to the festival, we’re proud to present the Departure Discovery Series.

This special showcase spotlights some of the most exciting emerging artists from Toronto and beyond who are playing the festival this year, building buzz ahead of Departure while giving audiences the chance to discover new talent in an intimate, electric setting. Artists to be announced soon.

Hosted at one of Ossington’s favourite live music spaces, the Discovery Series is more than just a show. It’s a chance to connect with a thriving music community and experience what’s next, up close. With exceptional sound, award-winning engineers, and a warm, high-energy atmosphere, The Painted Lady is the perfect place to catch rising artists before the festival kicks off.
