Ryan Naismith Band kicks off the show with a Roots/Americana vibe then turns it over to Newport Electric, bringing their Roots Rock sound that had them voted London's "Best Rock Band" 2019 and 2023 by Forest City London Music Awards. Drawing on Influence from The Hip, The Stones, The Black Crowes and Sloan, they've carved their own sound. Pulse pounding, catchy-as-all-hell riffs, with compelling lyrics drive a high energy, infectious groove. With three full length albums, their single, Midnight Train, from their first album reached #2 on Spain's TIORR3 rock chart while "Hard Lines and Better Times" and "Blood Moon" held #1 and #6 on TIORR3's Rock chart in March 2022. They have opened for The Mahones, Goddo, and 54-40. Their most recent album, "The Ugly Carnival" was released June 2025.
NEWPORT ELECTRIC
Newport Electric is a roots rock band from London, Ontario. Formed in 2014, they blend elements of folk, rock, blues, and country. Inspired by classic artists of the 1960s and 70s, their name is an homage to Bob Dylan's controversial electric performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.
Newport Electric has released three albums: "So It Goes" (2015), "Thin Wild Mercury" (2018), and "Discord and Harmony" (2022). They've received airplay on CBC, and various radio stations across Canada. Voted London's "Best Rock Artist" award in both 2019 and 2023.
RYAN NAISMITH BAND
R.N.B. is a Roots Rock, Americana group from London, ON, blending folk, rock, country and blues. Singer-songwriter Ryan Naismith on acoustic guitar and vocals, the sound is filled out by bass, fiddle, drums and electric guitar.
Fans have compared their sound to Ray Lamontagne, Jason Isbell and Neil Young for the strong lyrics and rhythm combined with cutting melodies and troubadour storytelling.
Nominated 2024 and 2025 for the Forest City London Music Awards in Songwriter and Country categories, the band takes pride in building fans one show at a time.
