Whether you're mesmerized by the visuals, engrossed in the music, or analyzing the sound waves,Current Fantasy is a multi-sensory experience best enjoyed live.Having spent the last 25 years on the road and in the studio with bands such as The Trews, Peter Elkas, Terra Lightfoot, Burt Neilson Band, Skydiggers or just a good ol Sunday night at The Dakota Tavern with The Mercenaries, Heisholt's musical journey actually began with synthesizers.  "I grew up on New Order and Depeche Mode, and then got seduced by rock n roll in the 90s.  I knew that when I'd eventually find my way back to electronic music, it was gonna be messy."  "I'd been meaning to do my own project for a while, but had no idea the direction I wanted to go in.  My renewed love of synthesizers, particularly modular ones, answered that question for me.
